In an effort to reduce waste, we have an inner tube recycling program! We teamed up with a company that makes
products from tubes, give your tubes to us instead of sending them to
landfill!
Our third shipment of tubes was
43lbs! Can you imagine, 43lbs of rubber which would have gone into the landfill.
The recycling program is limited
to these sizes right now:
26” (common mountain bike size), 27” (common vintage size), 700 x 35+ (fat road tires) Sorry, we can’t accept most road tube
sizes right now.
Tires
which are safe and have life left are accepted for re-use in all sizes. Unfortunately, we haven’t found anywhere to recycle exhausted tires
yet.
